Dubai has one of the most impressive attraction lineups of any city in the world. In a 5 to 6 night trip most Indian travellers try to fit in 8 to 10 experiences — a mix of iconic landmarks, theme parks and evening experiences. The challenge is that not every attraction delivers equal value and ticket prices vary significantly across channels. This is an honest guide to Dubai's major attractions — what is genuinely worth your time and money, what is overhyped and what the tickets actually cost. All rates referenced are as on 25th May 2026. The observation deck on the 124th and 125th floors offers a 360-degree view of Dubai — the city, the desert, the coastline and the Gulf. Honest verdict: Average at best. The view is decent but not dramatically better than several other vantage points in Dubai — and queues during peak season can be significant. If you go, go early morning to avoid the crowds. Non-prime hours keep the ticket price lower and the experience more manageable. Free alternative: Head to Dubai Mall, get a photo with the Burj Khalifa in the background and catch the free fountain show in the evening. The fountain show is genuinely spectacular and costs nothing. Better paid alternative: The View at The Palm observation deck offers something the Burj Khalifa does not — a bird's eye view of the Palm Jumeirah islands themselves. The views are beautiful, it is significantly less crowded and the tickets are cheaper. Ticket prices — 124th and 125th floor, non-prime hours: Retail (Klook): ₹4,918 per person INFARE rate: ₹4,267 per person Saving: ₹651 per person Desert Safari What it is: An afternoon and evening experience in the Dubai desert — dune bashing in 4x4 vehicles, camel rides, sandboarding, a Bedouin camp with dinner, live entertainment and stargazing. Honest verdict: The experience is strong — particularly dune bashing, which is genuinely thrilling — but the quality varies enormously based on the camp you choose. Camp selection is the most important decision you make for a desert safari. Health note: Dune bashing is not recommended for infants, elderly travellers with back pain or anyone with heart conditions. If travelling with infants or elderly family members the camp experience without dune bashing can be arranged separately. On camps: The best premium camps in Dubai are Al Khayma and Noble. Both are priced higher than standard desert safari packages but the difference in experience is significant — better setup, smaller groups, more curated environment. Do not compromise on the camp. On food: Food at most desert safari camps — including premium ones — is below average by Indian standards. Vegetarian options are available but do not go expecting high quality food. The experience is about the desert, the dunes and the atmosphere — not the dinner. Morning safari option: If dune bashing is the primary draw consider the morning desert safari — 3 hours, dune bashing only, no camp or dinner, ₹1,000 to ₹1,200 cheaper per person than the full evening experience. Same health restrictions apply. Full evening safari duration: approximately 6 hours. Ticket prices — Premium Desert Safari: Retail (Klook): ₹4,050 per person INFARE rate: ₹3,400 per person Saving: ₹650 per person Note: Al Khayma and Noble camps are priced higher than standard premium safari rates. Ask INFARE for specific camp rates when booking. Dhow Cruise — Marina What it is: A 2-hour evening cruise along the Dubai Marina on a traditional wooden dhow — dinner included, views of the Marina skyline, live entertainment. Honest verdict: The Marina views are genuinely good. The food is average — do not go expecting a memorable meal. The Creek Dhow Cruise is not recommended — poor views, poor crowd, not worth your time. Best Dhow options: Alexandra and Ocean Empress are among the best dhow experiences on the Marina. Worth specifying when booking. Better alternative — Yachts: For a significantly better experience consider a yacht over a dhow. Xclusive Yachts offer excellent sunset yacht tours. The crowd is considerably smaller and the experience more personal. Private yachts are available on an hourly basis — strongly recommended for groups of 8 or more where you can carry your own food and drinks. Important timing note: Marina traffic in the evenings can be terrible. Leave significantly more time than you think you need to get there. Ticket prices — Dhow Cruise Marina with Dinner: Retail (Klook): ₹2,780 per person INFARE rate: ₹2,100 per person Saving: ₹680 per person (24.5%) The Dhow Cruise Marina has one of the largest trade rate gaps of any Dubai experience.
